You won’t have to worry about a thing, even during vacations and on holidays, because we’ve got you covered. We can answer your questions, replace a lost key, schedule a maintenance appointment, help find you a new roommate, and maybe even help with a computer glitch. We probably won’t walk your dog, though. We know you came to Knoxville to study, and that’s serious, but we want you to enjoy life too.

At The Commons, you’re never going to be “left out in the cold” when something happens, even if it’s the middle of the night. If your heat goes out and you’re burning the midnight oil studying for an exam, all you have to do is call. That’s what we call an emergency! That’s also what we call service, and we offer it with a smile: 24-7. Count on it. No extra charge.

We want you to feel safe and secure – college life may not be all about fun, but you shouldn’t have to stress about safety and security either. Our building security system should put your mind at ease; and our on-site courtesy officers are available to assist you in any way, at any time. Your safety and security are vital – so we do our best to assure your family that we’re caring for you – just like family.

The fitness center at The Commons has specialized equipment, free weights, cardio machines, and a host of other fitness aids designed to stretch and exercise all the right muscles. It’s up to you to exercise your brain, but we help make it easy to be physically fit.
Stay calm and practice your breathing. When stress and anxiety threaten to overwhelm you, head for the Yoga Room to get your body and mind in alignment. It’s always there for you.
Multi-task with the equipment in our Business Center, situated adjacent to the fitness center. You might even sneak in a few moments with the free weights while powerful modern computers do some digital “heavy lifting.” With the right equipment to make your telecommunications easy, it’s the modern way to stay connected.

Fully Furnished Apartments
No need to scrounge for hand-me-downs and flea-market bargains when you lease a furnished apartment. You’ll get modern, comfortable beds, sofas, desks, chairs, and lamps when you opt for the furnished package chosen explicitly for your floor plan.
Fully-Equipped Kitchens
At The Commons at Knoxville, there’s little excuse for not eating well, with kitchens that include a range with a full-size oven, an over-the-stove microwave, a refrigerator-freezer complete with icemaker, and a modern dishwasher. In our remodeled units, the appliances are stylish stainless-steel, while in other units, they may be black or white, but they’re equally efficient. Your kitchen also has a double-bowl sink with disposal and a contemporary faucet, and plenty of cabinets and countertop space. You’ll want to bring your favorite recipes, however.
Private Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The Commons in Knoxville features private bedrooms with separate locks. In some of our floor plans, two bedrooms share a bath. But, if you’d rather not share, we understand. Just pick a plan that has a private bath for each bedroom. It doesn’t get much better than that, right? No matter how you choose to live, you’ll be living your best life in the heart of Knoxville.
